MERTRA came all the way from down under to show London Fashion Week how its done.
Contrary to the fancy clothes, the flashing lights and decorum that Fashion Shows posses, Aaron and the Mertra team held their own show on the streets of Soho with chaos and much rawer energy.
With UK expansion the goal for Mertra, it marks another milestone in their journey in dong that. They gave away over 500 items, exclusive to the event, which went out quicker than expected. Other attempts have included frequent shoots in London, as well as linkups with some of the UK most exciting rising talent including Fin Beso, Dex Durrant, Jaasir, Monroe and more.
It’ll be exciting to see the continuous expansion. The seamless indulgence into UK culture has blurred the borders of MERTRA’S origins giving the Australian brand a seat in UK streetwear.
