Is Came Up In The Drought creating some of the best accessories in streetwear? I definitely think so.
Not once or twice have they brought new & creative accessories to the table but this brand has been dropping back to back, fire products that their audience loves which has gone on to grow their brand.
One element I think brands should focus on is being more than a "brand". When we think of a "clothing brand" the automatic thing we refer to is plainly clothes. Many brands don't understand how to be more than a brand and break into other elements of brand building. I'll be going more in-depth on another post about this but accessories are easily one of the ways to start breaking barriers out of the status quo for a clothing brand.
Their ability to flip nostalgic elements of our beloved culture into their own has to be recognised. This provides them with substance which allows them to effectively stand out as a streetwear brand and build a strong customer base. From their Chief Keef $300 bill rug and their Internet Explorer Belt to their Fast Food bracelet and more, Came Up In The Drought has the accessory game on lock.
